Anglo-Dutch-Danish Diabetes Group – Abstract deadline

Founded by Prof. Edwin gale and colleagues, many years ago, ADDDG is a friendly meeting where trainees and research fellows have the opportunity to present to an international audience. Your Diabetes UK abstracts are welcome. We had the highest ever number of abstracts from the UK in 2009. Let’s make 2010 better! More info here…

YDF Non-clinical Scientists Group

We are delighted to propose a non-clinician scientists group under the YDF’s auspices.  The YDF Scientists Group will work with the clinical membership of YDF and provide networking and educational opportunities for its members. Places will also be allocated for a few non-clinical scientists at YDF Day 2010 .

Looking forward to 2010

2009 was another successful year for the YDF that saw over 100 trainees attending YDF Day in Glasgow and 1.5 million hits to youngdiabetologists.org.

2010 heralds YDF Scotland , the first of a series of  regional YDF events, a YDF National Insulin pump course and a comprehensive survey of all D&E trainees to quantify concerns like lack of consultant posts and specialist training experience.

If there is anything else the YDF can help with, please do get in touch via our website.

Have a great 2010!

Best Wishes,

Marc Atkin (YDF Chair) and Jyothis George (YDF Web Editor)
